Photo gallery » Saul-Paul Sirag studied physics as an undergraduate at Berkeley before dropping out to pursue theater. He was cast in the original Broadway production of Hair in 1969, but could not join the production because he couldn’t afford the Actors’ Equity fees. He returned to Berkeley, became a core member of the Fundamental Fysiks Group, and also arranged annual workshops on Bell’s theorem at the Esalen Institute. (Courtesy Nick Herbert)
